ILKAP and Department of Fisheries Malaysia Pre-Trial Course and Cooperation Claim Techniques was held from 22 to 24 April 2024 aimed at exposing new prosecution officers in the handling of prosecution cases under the Fisheries Act 1985 [Act 317] as well as the regulations under it, the International Trade on Endangered Species Act (CITES Act) [Act 686] and the Exclusive Economic Zone Act 1984 [Act 311] in their respective states or regions.
This course also aims to increase participants’ knowledge and understanding more clearly about ethics, roles and responsibilities as prosecutor officers in carrying out prosecution duties according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) procedures and relevant current laws and increase participants’ confidence in applying clear knowledge in the field of prosecution in the Court.
