Welcome and thank you for visiting the Kedah State Fisheries Office Website.

The Kedah Fisheries Office is one of the main leading states in the development and modernisation of the country’s fisheries sector. The mission of the Department of Fisheries is to manage and develop the country’s fisheries sector in a sustainable, dynamic and competitive manner based on scientific information and quality services. In carrying out the mission, the Kedah Fisheries Office focuses on efforts to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of its service delivery and smart partnerships between the Department and stakeholders.

The development of information and communication technology has created a facilitator that opens up information channels to the public. Thus, this website has been designed as a primary medium to deliver announcements, services, programs, statistics, and general information about the Department. Therefore, this website has been compiled as a reference source for all those who are interested in expanding the concept of an informed and knowledgeable society.
