The Malaysian Fisheries Department’s Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) workshop was held on 20 to 22 February 2024 at the Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Fisheries College, Perak. The workshop was organized by the Human Capital Development Division (BPMI), Department of Fisheries Malaysia in collaboration with INTAN Bukit Kiara involving a total of 21 officers from various Divisions, Fisheries Research Institutes and Units of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia.
The main focus of this workshop is to train officers involved in the development of the department’s human capital to acquire knowledge and skills in implementing the process of analyzing learning needs according to the correct procedure. In addition, the officers involved were also trained to plan human resource development programs for the Division, the Fisheries Research Institute and the Unit more effectively and efficiently.
