YBhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia held a Visiting Session to the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) Headquarters and the arrival was welcomed by Tuan Mohd Asnawi bin Hanipah, EAIC Operations Division Director.
This Honorable Visit was held to establish cooperation and strengthen the relationship between the DOF and the EAIC and exchange views to ensure that the direction of strengthening the integrity of enforcement activities under the jurisdiction of the Fisheries Act 1985 is always on the right track.
He said, this department is always open and provides good cooperation in channeling information and feedback for any complaints received and investigations carried out by the EAIC. He said, the Malaysian Fisheries Department is one of the 21 enforcement agencies under EAIC’s supervision.
Also present were Mr. Mohamed Rizal bin Mustapha, Director of the Management Services Division, Mrs. Haliza binti Sulaiman, Head of the Integrity Unit and Mr. Anuar Salam Sulaiman, Head of the Licensing Branch and officers from the department and EAIC.
