This programme aims to further enhance the skills and competencies of all officers and personnel in the handling and use of firearms. A total of 40 JPLS enforcement personnel participated in this program.
The programme was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain Director General of Fisheries Malaysia at Lapang Sasar Police Headquarters Kontijen Batu Kawa, Sarawak. Prior to that, he and all law enforcement personnel were briefed on the safety and use of weapons by Sergeant Najep Haji Muldan from the PDRM.
Also present at the ceremony were Puan Liza binti Haji Long, Deputy Director of Marine Fisheries Sarawak, Tuan Jamil bin Musel, Director of Bintawa Fisheries Research Institute, Sarawak, Mr. Dokaner Kasto Anak Muning, Head of the Fisheries Conservation and Protection Branch of JPLS as well as officers and staff.
