The National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM) has sought assistance and guidance from the Department of Fisheries Malaysia (DOF) for the solar technology program and IOT application on the Freshwater Fish Farming Agropreneur.

DOF through the Federal Territory Fisheries Office of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya has provided 4,000 puyu and tilapia seeds, prepared a special sketch for the aquaculture breeding system as a reference UPNM developed the system, and managed the course at the Glami Lemi Research Institute for UPNM staff.

On this day, Mr. Sukri bin Daris, Senior Deputy Director of Fisheries Conservation and Protection Division accompanied by Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhd Zu Azhan bin Yahya, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs and Alumni has released 2,000 fish seeds as a symbol of the ceremony.

Also present at the ceremony were Puan Suhanah binti Kassiron, Director of the Fisheries Office of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya as well as staff of the National Defence University of Malaysia and staff of the Fisheries Office.
