The 12th Agricultural Convocation Ceremony 2024 was held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) with the theme TVET: National Agrofood Security Apprentices.
982 graduates of the Malaysian Skills Diploma, Malaysian Skills Certificate, Agriculture Certificate, Malaysian Veterinary Certificate and Fisheries Certificate in various fields have received diplomas and certificates. In this ceremony, the Minister’s Special Award – Gold Medal was also presented to the graduates in addition to 7 other Special Awards.
For the fisheries sub-sector, a total of 24 Fisheries Certificate graduates have successfully graduated from the Malaysian Fisheries Academy.
The ceremony was officiated by YB Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security. Also present at the ceremony were YBhg Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia, and Mrs. Shamila binti Zainol, Director of Human Capital Development Division.
