Application for Industrial Training/Practical for students from Higher Learning Institutes to the Department of Fisheries Malaysia

Students may apply using using written application via their respective supervisors for Industrial training/Practical in their respective institutions and submit to Training Development and Career Advancement Division, Department of Fisheries Malaysia. 

Types of courses are offered by the Department of Fisheries Malaysia

The Department of Fisheries frequently updates the information on offered courses/trainings through the Online Department Training Application System (eLatihan system). The system can be accessed via the url address: http://eservices.dof.gov.my.

The system link can also be found in the Homepage of the Department of Fisheries website under the Online Services section. You may enroll into the eLatihan system and application for specific courses can be made directly through the system.

Financial assistance offerred by DOF to initiate a fisheries project upon attending courses organised by the Department of Fisheries

No financial assistance is provided by the Department of Fisheries. However, the Department provides technical advice on how to start up a fisheries project.

Fees charged for attending the courses organised by the Department of Fisheries

There is no fee imposed for the courses.

Courses Age Limit

Application for courses organized by the Department of Fisheries is open to applicants between the age of 18-60 years old. Applicants should have good health, able to read and write and are Malaysian Citizens.
