BUDI MADANI is the vehicle of the MADANI Government to ensure that subsidy allocations are targeted to the deserving group. The 2024 budget that was announced, committed to re-targeting fuel subsidies to curb smuggling activities and the leakage of people’s subsidies.
In order to ensure that the welfare of the majority of the people continues to be preserved, BUDI MADANI was introduced as a platform for retargeting subsidies only to those in need. Certain ground goods transport vehicles continue to receive subsidies to control the price of goods, while selected individuals are given cash assistance to curb the increase in the cost of living.
