The Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro-Tourism (MAHA) Exhibition 2024, which will be held from 11 to 22 September 2024 at MAEPS, Serdang, is a special edition of MAHA 2024 in conjunction with celebrating its 100th anniversary.
With this year’s MAHA theme, “Harvesting Tomorrow Where Dreams Blossom” or in the language of “Reaping Hope Building the Future”, this theme means to achieve a more advanced and innovative agricultural future.
MAHA 2024 will see the biggest showcase of new technologies, modernisation and smart agriculture as well as green solutions that will define the new direction of Malaysia’s agricultural sector.
Among the technologies that will be emphasized at MAHA this time for the fisheries sector is the introduction of modern aquaculture technology that can improve the yield and quality of fishery products.
The target for this year’s MAHA is to attract three (3) million visitors during the exhibition period.
The MAHA 2024 Launch Ceremony was launched today by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu. Also present at the ceremony were the Senior Director of the Aquaculture Division of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia, and the staff of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia.
