There has been a discussion meeting on the direction of the capture fishery industry with YBhg. Datuk Badrul Hisham bin Mohd, KPKM Deputy Secretary General (Development) at the Malaysian Fisheries Headquarters, Wisma Tani today.
This discussion is more focused on issues of Current Fisheries Statistics (fishermen, vessels, catches, value, IUU and others), Current Policy, Effectiveness of Current Policy Implementation (Impact Study), Issues Related to Departments, Associations and Industry Players and Chain Proposals Forward.
Also present, Ybhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries, Mr. Mr. Bohari bin Hj. Leng, Deputy Director General (Development), Divisional Director and Fisheries Officer.
