The Fish Fry Release Programme into public waters is carried out as one of the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security through the Department of Fisheries Malaysia to manage inland fisheries resources in Malaysia. This can also increase fishery stocks thereby increasing the population and conserving biodiversity.
