Ybhg. Dato’ Haji Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia and Member of the Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) attended the HEPA UMT Student Literacy Public Lecture Programme as a guest lecturer at the Auditorium of the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Library, UMT.
He delivered a lecture entitled Fisheries Sector and Food Security which is a key perspective to improve the country’s food security and he hoped that students who take the field of fisheries science can study more diligently and gain more knowledge in preparation for the changing world that is increasingly advanced today.
Also present was YBhg. Professor Dr. Mohd Izani bin Mohd Zain, UMT Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), YBrs. Associate Professor Dr. Yusof Shuaib bin Ibrahim, Director of UMT Alumni Centre, lecturers, UMT Student Representative Council, UMT students and officers of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia.
