The Malaysian Association of Fisheries Assistants Retired (FA Alumni) held its second annual general meeting in Tanjung Kling, Melaka with the aim of presenting the annual report as well as implementing the election and appointment of new Committee Members (AJK) for the period of 2025.
The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia, who also conveyed his appreciation to the retirees who attended.
He said retired Fisheries Assistants should be active in collaborating with the Fisheries Department in every fishery-related activity so as to further strengthen the relationship between alumni and the department as well as improve the well-being of the fisheries community. He also hoped that the association would remain relevant and competitive as a recommendation for the future.
