Staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS) gathered in a spirit of unity during the Monthly Assembly and Aidilfitri Gathering Ceremony. The event not only strengthened the bonds of solidarity among ministry personnel but also fostered closer ties in conjunction with the blessed month of Syawal.
More than 2,000 ministry staff enlivened the event, which was held concurrently with the Ministry’s monthly assembly.
The event was further graced by the presence of the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Tuan Haji Mohamad Sabu, who delivered an important address to all ministry personnel.
The Department of Fisheries Malaysia (DOF) was awarded Best Booth Design, with their RUSTIC-themed presentation that showcased natural, classic, worn, and casual elements. This theme was chosen as it closely reflects the spirit of Hari Raya in Malaysia, which traditionally leans toward honoring one’s roots—in other words, emphasizing tradition while highlighting the beauty of local cultural heritage during the Syawal celebration.
