YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) completed the Flag-Off Ceremony of the KPKM Ihsan MADANI Squad at the Main Lobby, Wisma Tani, Putrajaya today.
He said, the KPKM will help flood victims through 3 relief schemes, namely the rice crop disaster fund, the agricultural disaster fund and the rice crop takaful scheme under AGROBANK.
In addition, the launch of the KPKM civil courtesy squad is also one of the aids to ease the burden of flood victims in the affected areas, especially in the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah and Pahang.
Present with YBhg. Datuk Seri Isham bin Ishak Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, YBhg. Dato' Haji Adnan bin Hussain, Chief Director of Fisheries Malaysia, Heads of Departments and Agencies under KPKM as well as senior officials and KPKM citizens.
