Ybhg. Dato’ Haji Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia was present to officiate the Central Kitchen and Frozen Mart owned by Mr. Mohd Hafizul Atras bin Alan Azmi who is an entrepreneur of my Agropreneur Fisheries (myAP) of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia.
En. Mohd Hafizul Atras started raising catfish, catfish and talapia at home with a capital of RM7,000.00. Then he ventured into the field of entrepreneurship, namely ALG Patin Legacy. This success was achieved through the support from the Department of Fisheries Malaysia which provides training and assistance under the my Agropreneur Fisheries Programme (myAP).
At this event, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Adnan was taken to visit the catfish processing factory and was briefed on the company’s operations.
Also present were YBhg. Dato’ Haji Azahari bin Haji Othman, Senior Director of Aquaculture Division, Puan Khazlita Adzim binti Abdol Aziz, Director of Fisheries Development Division, Mr. Abdullah bin Jaafar, Director of Fisheries of Pahang State.
