The Department of Fisheries Malaysia (DOF) is honored to support the Conservation Organization Award Ceremony, Mission Blue Award 2025, held in conjunction with the Diving, Resort & Travel (DRT) Expo 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This award was presented to seven non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in recognition of their dedication to marine ecosystem conservation in Malaysia.
The ceremony was officiated by YBrs. Puan Yeo Moi Eim, Deputy Director General (Management) of DOF, who emphasized the crucial role of NGOs in promoting advocacy, raising public awareness, and continuously monitoring marine ecosystems.
The Diving, Resort & Travel (DRT) Expo 2025, held from February 21 to 23, 2025, served as an important platform bringing together industry experts, divers, eco-tourism practitioners, and environmental enthusiasts.
Also present at the event were Mr. Pang Anak Nyukang, Senior Deputy Director of the Fisheries Conservation and Protection Division, and officers from the Fisheries Department headquarters.
