Ybhg. Dato’ Haji Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia, released 1 thousand Red Kelah Fish Fry at the Kelah Sanctuary, Lubuk Tenor, Pahang National Park today.
Red Kelah Fish Seeds were donated by the Perlok Aquaculture Development Centre worth RM 25,000.00.
The Director General of Fisheries Malaysia was also briefed by En. Muhamad Azizi bin Mustapa, Deputy Superintendent of Pahang National Parks, Department of Wildlife Protection and National Parks (PERHILITAN). In addition, this fish release activity can also create the potential for inland fisheries research and innovation collaboration between the Department of Fisheries Malaysia (DOF) and Perhilitan.
Also present at the ceremony were the Director of the Fisheries Development Division Puan Khazlita Adzim binti Abdol Aziz, the Director of Terengganu State Fisheries En. Ruzaidi bin Mamat and staff of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia.
